Balloony Balloons - Terms & Conditions

 

All photographs of Balloon Decorations on our site show only the work of ‘Balloony Balloons’. No photograph may be used for any purpose without written permission from Balloony Balloons.

 

‘We’, ‘Us’ refers to Balloony Balloons. ‘You/Your’, ‘The Customer’ refers to the person making the booking. ‘Site’ refers to your Venue.

 

General

When booking with Balloony Balloons all bookings are subject to the Terms and Conditions set out below.

 

Typically, 11inch helium filled latex Balloons have a float time of approximately 12-18hours & 18inch helium filled foil Balloons have a float time of approximately 4 days. However exposure to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight and boisterous handling could lead to a decrease in floating time and/or complete deflation.  Float time for latex Balloons can be extended with the use of High Float. We always aim to provide you with the exact materials and designs you specify. However if any are discontinued or unavailable in time for your event, especially in the case of last minute bookings, Balloony Balloons reserves the right to provide a suitable alternative. We will keep you fully informed of any alterations to your original order and work with you to provide suitable alternatives.

 

For designs using specialist frames, a refundable deposit is required (you will be advised of this when booking). Once Balloony Balloons has received the frames back in the condition in which you received them, a full refund of your frame deposit will be returned. If the frame/s are returned to us in a damaged condition then Balloony Balloons reserves the right to retain your deposit and depending upon the extent of damage, you may be billed further for their repair/replacement.

 

Payment, Delivery and set-up

To secure a booking in our diary, a completed booking form & a non-refundable 25% deposit is required.

 

The full balance is due 4 weeks prior to the event date. No refunds can be made within these 4weeks.

 

If you are booking within 4 weeks of your event date, the full cost is payable at the time of booking.

 

In general, changes to a booking cannot be made within the 4 week period prior to your event.

 

Once your decorations are complete you will be required to sign a declaration of satisfaction after which you are solely responsible for all liabilities.

 

We will always try our best to set up your decorations for your agreed time, however if for any reason beyond our control we have problems gaining access to your venue or function room we cannot be held responsible for any set-up delay that may occur.

 

As our equipment is heavy and we set-up the decorations on site, we would require reasonably adjacent accessible parking for the duration of set-up. If there is only meter parking available then you will be liable for the cost incurred. If appropriate unloading and parking spaces have not been reserved/arranged for us, we cannot be held responsible for any set-up delay that may occur.

 

Cancellation

If you choose to cancel your booking with us you must inform us in writing as soon as possible.

               I.      If you cancel more than 4 weeks prior to your event date and have only paid a non-refundable deposit then you will not be entitled to any refund. However, any monies paid over and above the non-refundable deposit will be refunded.

             II.      If you cancel within the 4 weeks leading up to your event date then you will not be entitled to any refund.

 

Safety/Allergies

Helium from Balloon Decorations should never be inhaled by anyone under any circumstances. It is an asphyxiant and can kill.

 

Any balloons/decorations and attachments are not toys and children should not be left unattended with them at any time.

 

Any burst/broken balloons, stray bits of ribbon or anything else that becomes detached from the balloons or the balloon decorations should be immediately cleared up and removed as these could become choking hazards.

 

We only use the top quality Latex Balloons & Microfoil Balloons. Balloony Balloons cannot accept any responsibility for any allergic reactions that may occur as a result of the balloons used in your balloon decorations.

 

Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform any of our obligations if the cause of the delay or failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control. Causes beyond our control include but are not limited to:

               I.      Acts of God – explosion, flood, tempest, adverse weather conditions, fire or accidents

             II.      War or threats of war causing civil disturbance

            III.      Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial actions/trade disputes

            IV.      Shortage or unavailability of materials from our suppliers

             V.      Failure of any communications – telecommunications or computer systems, power failure or breakdown in machinery

 

Changes to these Terms & Conditions

Balloony balloons reserves the right to update, add and/or change these terms and conditions at anytime.
